General Info

David Merritt, a popular and successful businessman, brought tint to Jackson in the '70s and went on to establish Mr. Tint in 1980. His vision would span almost three decades and is still going strong. David taught his only son, Jerry, the meticulous trade, who eventually went on to perfect it, and even turn it into an art. Today, Mr. Tint is run by Jerry Merritt, who continues to improve and expand on his fathers business with the help of his family and friends, and, of course, the never ending support of the original Mr. Tint, his father.

Mr. Tint offers a large and comfortable waiting area, equipped with a viewing window that allows customers to watch the tinting process take place. Adjacent to the waiting area is a customer bathroom, which is cleaned daily. Additionally, Mr. Tint has plenty of toys available to our customers' little ones, in order to keep them occupied---we are a FAMILY business after all!
