Classical Guitar Performance & Instruction. Learn to play guitar! Lessons may be taught in the comfort of your home, or at the Kailua Music School. Performance for weddings, private parties & special events. Proudly serving Windward Oahu. Professional and experienced. Luke Trimble is an award-winning classical guitarist based in Kailua, on the island of Oahu. Widely recognized for his versatility as a performer and educator, Luke’s diverse work has taken him across the globe as a soloist, with various ensembles, and as a dedicated teacher. Luke has been featured on Hawaii Public Radio. He has performed with members of the Honolulu Symphony, the Air Force Band of the Pacific, the UH Contemporary Music Ensemble, and numerous chamber players. Recent concerts in China include the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and Shanghai Concert Hall. With a strong background in K-12 Music Education, Luke can be found teaching students of all ages in both private and classroom settings. He has guest lectured at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. From 2009 to 2011, he served as Director of Education at The Kailua Music School. In 2012, Luke joined the British International School Shanghai as a guitar instructor. And in 2013, Luke finally settled in Kailua where he continues to maintain a busy schedule of students.
