      General Info
      Started in 1942, Wenke Greenhouses is a family owned and operated business dealing in growing and distributing flowers as well as bedding plants. It has three divisions: Finished Wholesale, Young Plants and Retail Garden Center. Finished Wholesale division of the business sells plants directly to garden centers, landscapers and the Kalamazoo Valley Plant Growers. Young Plants division of the company offers plugs and liners through brokers to greenhouse growers and is a rooting station for Flower Fields, Goldfisch and Suntory, mostly supplied to the Midwest and the Southeast. Wenke Greenhouses has a 3-acre facility and an 18-acre facility in Kalamazoo and a 20-acre facility in Douglas, Ga.
