I'd never tried therapy before until my partner and I were splitting up, and I was seeking mediated space to talk things out and try to heal together. The first few sessions were ok, but we were running out of money and I also started to notice that Judy could identify only with my ex, and didn't seem to like me. Well, my suspicions were right: Our last session Judy probably had the most unprofessional moment of her career? She really lost it, attacked me verbally, told me I was to blame, that my ex was the victim, and that I play "word games"! Out of all the confusion and heartache that brought us there, being in the most vulnerable place possible, this was really a traumatizing experience for me, and i would HIGHLY suggest another therapist (who's views aren't dated and who can hold it together and remain calm and civil in therapy sessions)!
