I went into this place because of a recommendation from a friend. My first experience with this place was the cold and unfriendly customer service who was very demanding and snippy because i was five minutes late. My second experience was paying $250 for a blood and urine test for my dog, which I was unaware of the steep pricing until I got to the desk. When my dad brought the urine sample in, he immediately called me saying he was treated with the utmost disrespect and was ignored and felt like he had done something wrong. BUT the receptionist was more than willing to tell him how much the bill was. I called them today to confront this issue, only to say they would send me a discount to my email. I never gave them my email. Overall, not impressed. If I wanted crappy customer service, I'd go back to my old vet. For the price, it is most definitely not worth it. Too much emphasis on money and not about animals. Find somewhere else if you truly care about the welfare of your pet.

They are amazing...every person on the staff, from the receptionists to the veterinarians, were welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and professional! Beautiful facility. Its obvious they really do love animals!! Also accredited by A.A.H.A...a big plus!

Cheshire animal hospital took me to the cleaners by running several overpriced tests (8 X-rays for a 14lb dog and blood work) on top of a $148 "emergency fee" just after 5:00pm. Turns out the initial diagnosis was correct and a $10 bottle of pills fixed the problem but not before a skilled snake oil salesperson ran the tab up over $450 without any indication of how costly it would be. If you live in the Keene area and need a vet, I urge you to look elsewhere for an ethical animal hosptial.
