I have used Ohana Termite & Pest Control for over 16 years. They are small and mighty little pest control company out of Kissimmee, Florida. I wanted to hire a pest control company that cares about me and my home. The first thing I noticed about Ohana is the clean and professional trucks they drive. The Ohana technicians are willing to talk to you and teach you how they treat for bugs.

Most big companies are in a rush to get to the next job and don't want to talk to customers. At Ohana, I know who my pest control technician is and they know the issues I'm having. Try that at a big company.

The pest control technicians are very experienced. They never rush through a job. I had an issue with cockroaches in one of my vehicles and they spread to my home. I called Ohana and they were at my home quickly to help me get rid of the pests. Ohana Termite & Pest used an advance crystalized bait that killed the cockroaches in just a few days. The odorless bait was safe for my four dogs. The technician said that if I see any cockroaches after two weeks, to call back and they would do another treatment.

The scheduling staff and field technicians are very friendly and you can call them anytime. This family owned business is amazing. I will never go back to the big pest control companies.

If you want to talk to the owners of this company, ask for Ross or Carla. Try that with a big pest control company.

Tip: If you ever have a contractor show up at your home and the service truck is dirty and beat up. Then that is an indicator of the type of service you will get. If they don't care about their truck they won't care about you.

Do not use this pest control company they have no regard to your children or Pets. They we're told to not enter an apt because they don't know time management or how to show up for an appointment on time. When told to not spray an apt due to child's ashma the company agreed to come back next morning. At 11 am. Well they sprayed anyways at 4 pm with no regard to this customers health. Despicable company stay away from them. I will ensure I post this review regarding this company on every search engine and will be reporting them to the state. Costumer service Jessica and Carla disrespectful and rude as well.

For clarification, Ohana's contract in the apartment business is with the management company; not with the residents of the apartment complex. We take pictures to document preparation deficiencies and issues that prevent us from doing our job. The pictures are turned-in to the apartment manager to be used by the resident as reference aside from the initial treatment prep sheet that Ohana provides. In most cases, we have no contact with the residents which forces us to take pictures and videos for documentation.

Ohana does not create whatever pest issue that residents have in their respective units. We got involved by agreeing with the apartment manager to treat their units and help them get rid of their pest infestation. We have prep sheets that we require the resident to acknowledge and comply with in preparation for the treatment. However, we find that residents are often, deficient and other times, uncooperative. Residents not complying to our instructions will only hinder progress of the pest eradication process.

When residents complain of pest activities in their units, we get motivated because it is an opportunity for additional work and revenue for us. Ohana, however, will not make false claims about the presence of pest if it does not exist. This is one of the reason why we take pictures for documentation and get the apartment manager involved as a witness. It is frustrating to repeatedly inspect units for pests that do not exist. In a case like this, we often find that residents are just using pest control service as an excuse to break their lease early or want something free. Contrary to what was mentioned in one of the reviews, it is not Ohana's responsibility to dispose of any infested items from the apartment - it is the resident's responsibility.

We make mistakes and we are here to rectify. It is unfortunate that the negative reviews had to be posted for Ohana to perhaps have a chance of a direct contact with the unhappy apartment residents. Please call us at 407 344 8443.

Have been "served" by them 4 times now. Two times they failed to kill any cockroaches, eventually used a bunch of Raid. The other two times it was for bed bugs. The first time they came in they lied saying they couldn't find anything and stating my bedroom door was locked (it was left wide open). The apartment complex let them into the room since I was at work. They were told they were hiding under the box spring, and there were literally 100s of them. A blind man could have found them. They were even all over the walls. They did not come in again until 3 weeks later and I had collected 5 dozen of them. They said they sprayed the entire place down... Guess what, there are still hundreds of them... Under the box spring... Even though the company and apartment complex were supposed to toss it. So after numerous times of them coming, they are still lying and doing worse job than a 5 year-old with a squirt gun. Don't waste your money on these imbeciles. Thieves, liars, and morons...

After asking to have them come out for a third time for a massive cockroach treatment I was told that they took pictures of my property and my belongings when I left my apartment for deep cleaning. Never gave anyone permission to take pictures of my property to try and show it was my fault for cockroaches. I can not tell you how violated I feel to know that someone I am suppose to trust for treatment would walk thru my apartment and take pictures of my belongings to try and use as blackmail to show negligence on my part. I will never trust them again.

Beware of this company. They have contracts with Condo associations and work to do dispicable things to tenants to have more services done at a high cost. I has a pest inspection done and I was not present. They claimed I had bed bugs. The Condo association wanted have them treat this which is expensive. I had no proof or copy of a detailed report. I said no and had another company inspect. They found not evidence of anything. I finally got a copy of the first inspection. Absolutely nothing on it except that they found a single bed bug carcuss. I was told that bed bugs don't travel alone by the other company. I had not given my permission for them to enter my unit without me present, but the association had not given me 24 hours notice for me to make arrangements to be there. BE VERY AWARE OF THESE GUYS.
