My uncle has been a patient there for years. When the healthcare laws changed he struggled to pay the high copay of $2000 so they dropped him has a patient. He is on 13 meds and is mentally handicapped. They care more about the $ then they do about the patient. Dont go there.

He a great kids doctor. but he not a good adult doctor. he dont believe in helping when ur in pain. aint that why u go because ur hurting some where?

Dr. DeWeese is caring, listens well and works with his patients. He is relational -I guess that would be "has a good bedside manner"- and our daughter, who prefers not to deal with doctors, feels that he listens to her, digs for the cause of the problem, doesn't just want to treat her symptoms but wants to help get to the root of the problem. In her words- "If I have to go back to a doctor, it will be him." As the mom, I felt he listened well to my daughter and made me feel at ease enough to ask lots of questions about her situation. He also made a call at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve to check in with my father-in-law who had had some tests done a few days before to find out how he was feeling. Both he and my mother-in-law have expressed their pleasure with him. The office gals are very helpful and polite and the nurses are efficient and helpful also. For doctor's visits, they are really great.
