      General Info
      Established in 1995, Summit Medical Group is one of the largest organization in the provision of primary care in the east Tennessee region. Based in Knoxville, it has has three ancillary services facilities. The organization offers services in the categories of nuclear medicine, mammography, ultrasound, echocardiography, bone densitometry and pulminory function test, to name a few. Additionally, the medical group provides ambulatory cardiology equipment, including treadmills, holter monitors, event monitors as well as blood pressure monitoring. Summit Medical Group has about 220 physicians in 50 office locations and 10 hospitals serving patients in 10 counties in the East Tennessee region.
