Ok, this is a longer one. Firstly, I would never go back to this garage ever again. Timmy the owner is a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but that's as far as it goes. Had a car that needed an engine as the head gasket went. Instead of doing the gasket for that price, had Kresgeville Garage do an engine. Car was fine except for the engine to be done. A new trans was done 50K ago. I told him to take his time as I have other cars, but 2 months is a little much. But I can overlook the time. I understand a new engine isn't a little job, so I expect little things that need adjusting afterwards. Instantly check engine lights popped on that weren't ever there for trans issues after the engine was put it. It kept overheating because of the radiator top. Never was fixed correctly, had it back 4 times and it was always a sensor. Well, it overheated multiple times at that point. Then guess what? Yup...trans was shot because of the multiple overheatings. So now instead of just an engine, had to put a trans in elsewhere of course. A very good trans guy knew right away that the overheating ruined the trans. Btw, took it to another person...he knew right away that the rad needed replacing. If you have an engine out, shouldn't you look? I supplied so many other things to replace on the engine to make sure no issues for a while. So, yeah...never took blame and I feel I was screwed out of 2K for a reman trans.
Also, wheel bearing went bad at the same time. Don't blame Tim. But for the love of god, this thing would make noise so that a guy a block away would look. Tim never heard it for 3 times that I took it back. Always, I don't hear anything. Didn't fix anything until the 4th time when I wrote a straight forward note on the drop envelope.
Lastly, never calls you to give update on vehicle
Overall, this was a miserable situation. I would NEVER use this garage ever again!!!! I feel I was screwed out of 2K for a trans that I should never had had to replace if the job was done correctly.

I have been going there for 7 years and have never had a bad experience. Family fro out of town have had to bring their car there as well and have always commented on how great the prices were and service.
