He scams people out of money. He just bills whatever he wants and then collects on people. He charged me $800.00 for one office visit. Stay away from him.

I recently became a resident of Lake Charles Louisiana from California and was in search of a family physician. I was referred by my sister-in-law to Dr. Qureshi office. I made an appointment and interviewed Dr. Qureshi, he was very professional, attentive to my medical concerns, and his staff was likewise.. From that point forward I only found negative results. I found myself being schedule office visit appointments on a regular basis, including duplicate Lab visits, etc. Although I provided him with an extensive history of medical records for me and my wife from my previous California and Lake Charles physicians, I was bombarded with office visit. Office waiting time was usually over an hour and when you finally saw him it was only a few minutes. On one occasion I was given another patients Lab Work. I also had problems getting Ultrasound Images requested by a specialist referred by his office from one of his staff. Today was when the tire met the road, after waiting an hour and a half to see Dr. Qureshi, I was given a plastic drinking cup for a urine specimen without my name on it and asked to place it on a counter that was not attended, also was asked to take a drug screening test , stool specimen, and more lab work, which I refused because within the past 4 months I've had a colonoscopy, ultrasound, EKG, and numerous Lab Workups, which was all return without any problems. The reason for todays office visited was for a renewal of my hypertension prescription that was over due and I felt Dr. Qureshi was searching for reasons to schedule more office visit appointments. I was told by Dr. Qureshi that I should get another doctor because I refused the drug screening, more Lab work, and a stool specimen. I am 68 and in good condition for my age. The only medical condition that I have is Hypertension, and a few minor concerns that require monitoring without any medication. Dr. Qureshi made me feel more like he was more concern with how many office visit I piled up than my medical health. My wife was bombarded with numerous office visit as well. If you like to see a doctor for no apparent reason, on a regular basis, then Dr. Qureshi is the doctor for you.
