      Formerly Harrells Automotive, the team at Main Street Automotive has been working on Central Floridas classic and modern vehicles for generations. We are a full-service center offering the workmanship you deserve. We are a family owned and run business that can do the smallest of service such as lube, oil changes, and filters all the way to engine replacements and rebuilding. We work on European, Asian, and domestic autos and trucks. We also offer service and repairs on transmissions and air-conditioning units. Company history The owner has been in and around the automotive repair and service business for twenty-eight years. He is both self-taught and professionally trained and certified. Our hand-chosen automotive technicians also must exhibit the skills, intelligence, experience, and personal attitudes the owner exhibits himself. Main Street Automotive does not really advertise for business. Its based upon word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals; our customers have become our friends. They come back and bring their friends and family to us. Thats the way we do business, and we continue to prosper because our reputation is our best advertiser. We intend to keep it that way. Over the years, Main Street Automotive has become the go-to shop for classic and modern car repair in Lakeland, Tampa, and Orlando for the problems that other mechanics do not fix. Most of the chain shops do not have technicians who are comfortable working with carbs and older classics that are not computer controlled. We are as comfortable with a 40-year-old Corvette as we are with a 2017 that requires extensive computer diagnostics. Either way, we have the qualifications and skills to fix your car.
