We went to Dr. Tompson Back when he was in his old office around 2001. I had a little chiuaha that i was pet sitting that came to me with a infected hole in her leg from a dog fight. I took her to another vet first who's only option was to put her to sleep. I refused to do that and cared for her the best I could (being I was only 15) . We heard about This office from a Aunt and went there ASAP. and He offered HELP! We healed her up She is fine and you couldn't even see where she was injured. He will always be my Favorite vet.

Dr. Thompson has been taking care of my furry family members for more than 10 years. Even while I was promoted to a job in Miami, I made the drive back to Lakeland when my pets were due for their visit. Even now I live in Brandon and make the trip, because I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my precious babies! Now that my daughter is a pet "mom", I wouldn't allow her to go anywhere else. Dr. Thompson is always caring and honest and doesn't try to sell a service if it will not truly be a benefit for your pet. He and his staff are amazing!

My Willie is under the care of Dr. Thompson. He came into my life when I needed him most. My husband was dying. What a blessing to know he always gets great care. He is such a sweet dog and great companion. I am so grateful. Mrs L. Adams

The Soper household recommends Thompson Animal Hospital to others with critters. Our energetic Mexican Chiuachiua Pedro passed on at 16 years and was cared for his last few year. Then two precious felines Sam and Meesha lived to twenty-one years old. Now we have a puppy Rosie under the care of Dr. Thompson. The girls up front get to know the critters and the tech is GREAT! Thank you for the services and information provided for puppies. We are all learning how to care for the new Soper generation of animals. Rosie is recovering well from her surgery. = )

Love this vet. They saved my Valentine. And gave great care to our Katie when she could no longer go on. And was very gentle with our Sam who is a small little guy and one pampered pooch. I live in north Lakeland and by pass the rest to get to the BEST!! Ive been using Dr. Thompson since 1994. My silky, Rocky lived to be over 17 years old with mine and doc's love, care, and compassion. NONE better!!! Sherri and Fred Harrison

By MB, 02/21/12: My pet and I were from out of the country and needed the services of a veternarian......The Thompson Animal Hospital staff could not have been more helpful. I would hightly recommend them.

I have 3 cats and a dog - and wouldn't take them anywhere else!!! Drs Thompson and Jenks are first class, both in their compassion for your "furry children" and in their knowledge of pet health and behavior. The vet assistants are also terrific - my beagle hates to have her toenails clipped, and they get it done quickly and efficiently! I have also boarded with them, and they have taken very good care of my babies! ~ Glenda Kaminski

I would recommend Dr. Thompson & staff to pet loverseverywhere. I've taken my three precious cats & dog to them for many years. My dog received 17 years of care, consisting of surgeries, & extra care whenever needed right up to euthanasia & still tenderly cares for my two remaining cats.

I 've been taking my pets to the clinic for several years. They took care of my 27 year old cat WHINNIE when she was sick and comforted me when I had to put her down. So when I got a dog there was no question where to take her. They are always ready to help and seem to know exactly whats wrong with our dog Faith. Hi there, Been with Dr Thompson and his assts., for 16 yrs now. My little doggies, Sadi and now Ruby. We have had excellent help with the problems with have had with Ruby thru the years. Everything is done with such experience and I am assured at all times that she will be all right. We have also had her stay there several times while we had to go away and they treat her like royalty and sometimes becomes the office pet. lol I recommend this Vets office at anytime to anyone for any one of your animals or concerns.Sincerely,Ruby Malone (Theresa Malone my mommy) lol

I can't begin to tell you how much Doc and all of the staff mean to me! He's been our vet since 1997. He and the staff saw me through a horrible year (2007) with our beautiful Sybil and now cares for our spunky Sissy. We have always boarded with them. Can't think of any place else I trust that much.
