- FibromyalgiaFibromyalgia treatment is possible! Those suffering with fibromyalgia experience chronic, shifting pain in multiple muscle groups accompanied by near-chronic fatigue. There is no definitive test used in the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, resulting in frustration from patients and doctors alike.
- Primary CarePrimary Care Physician (PCP) Request - If you or your PCP feels you are a candidate for physical therapy, simply request Leading Edge when you are obtaining your prescription. Many doctors already have our prescription form, but download and print one by clicking here, and take it with you to your appointment just to be sure. Frequently doctors will recommend using one of their "in-house" therapists, but decisions about your care are ultimately yours! We believe that we offer the best care in Central Florida and that you will agree after your first visit. We are an in-network provider for most insurances (call us to be sure).

- Colon CancerSitting is the new smoking – with an average of 5 hours and 40 minutes per workday spent sitting, our risk of serious illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, obesity, and even depression is rapidly on the rise. Research shows that hitting the gym is not the answer. Regardless of fitness level, sitting is bad for you. A recent study puts some precise numbers on the cancer risks associated with too much sitting. For every two hours spent sitting in front of the computer or television, the average person raises his or her risk of colon cancer by 8%, of endometrial cancer by 10%, and of lung cancer by 6%. Stand up, it’s good for your mind & body.

- SciaticaTherbo Robots help the overworked muscles by eliminating waste (lactic acid) from the tissue, restoring normal blood flow, and allowing the muscles to stretch back to their normal length. Decreased pain and improved muscle endurance and flexibility will result. By relieving pressure from tight, overworked muscles, many patients experience immediate relief from back pain, sciatica, migraines, shoulder pain, and more.

- Hip ReplacementI came here after having a total hip replacement. I suffered severely for five years prior to the surgery, so I had a very difficult time walking, standing, sitting and just about anything else. I was near bed and wheelchair bound. Physical therapy has been a true success for me. I can now sit for hours if needed, stand, walk, get in and out of the car, and anything I desire or need to do. At Leading Edge Physical Therapy, they are the best! I recommend them highly. They are friendly and so helpful. I would not be where I am today, all healed, had it not been for Mike, Evelyn, and Anthony. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the GREATEST!

- Physical TherapyI had right hand carpel tunnel and trigger finger surgery. When I came into Leading Edge the first day, I immediately felt comfortable with the staff and therapist. The pain and stiffness was moderate to severe, but most of my pain has been with the trigger finger. In a short time the therapy has greatly increased the mobility in the hand and I am finally able to straighten my finger. I believe the success was greatly increased by the superior physical therapy I received. I thank everyone at Leading Edge for the professional therapy I have received and the compassion I was given to help me get through it all.
