So I recently decided to start putting a few hundred bucks a week into silver coins. I went to colfax coin last week spent $300 bucks and got silver eagles at $21.70 and $7 over spot.. I was not happy about the $7 over spot but paid it any way. Went back today to do my weekly $300 and I was pretty excited because spot is $19.60.. when I asked how much the silver eagles are she said $29... I said " wow $8 over spot this week and only $7 over spot last week " she tells me they are more expensive due to supply and demand"........ If there was such a huge demand dont you think the spot price would have gone up not down... I think she confused her store's supply with the national supply .. what a RIP OFF! be honest to people and they will do business with you. AVOID THIS PLACE unless you like over paying and getting lied to. LIARS

This place is a rip off. They are way over priced and will not give you the full current/market value when you sell coins back to them, their discount is way high. The store is suppose to open at 10:00 am. I have been at the store a number of times before ten and they do not seem to be in any hurry to open on time. Also they are closed a lot during the year. It seems to be a hit and miss when the store will be open an they close for about three weeks at Christmas/ New Years. In all fairness, they do have a large inventory. If you cannot find it somewhere else, try this place

even if they are over priced. A final comment. My mom went there about two years ago to buy about five thousand in gold. She was going to pay cash for most of it and the rest on a credit card. They started to balk about the charge fee to them!, never mind that they were making a sale in the thousands! What an awful way to do customer service.

I bought A bag of 1000 wheat pennys from this place over 40% of the coins were so corroded i could not even look at them this sucks and over price and out of the 1000 wheat pennys i got there was only 50 early date pennys pre 1939 and most of them were from the 30s i buy a lot of pennys from all over because i like to look though them and this place is the worst place to go and get wheat pennys i told them about the bad penny they seem like they didnt care about it all there into is making a buck and not saling good quality coins and i think they go though the coins before they sale them because of the few amount of early dates and when they put the coins in the counter they can see the quality of coins they are saling very poor place and no Customer service
