Denver Area Express Courier Services is a twenty-seven year old locally owned courier and expedited mail service company. Matt Trotter, Owner and CEO, purchased the company in March, 2010. Mr. Trotter is the third owner in the company’s history. Who is Matt Trotter? I’ve lived in the Denver area all my life, with the exception of four fun years in Lawrence, Kansas where I earned a bachelor’s of science in journalism from the University of Kansas. I have spent my adult life in the transportation business. Right out of college, I went to work for one of the large trucking companies. After that I started my own business, delivering packages as an independent contractor for DHL in Denver, northwestern Colorado and Arizona. I accepted a buyout when DHL abandoned the US market in 2009. After the buyout, I played a lot of golf and began looking for an existing business to buy. I looked at dozens before purchasing Denver Area Express in the spring of 2010. What a great fit! I knew I was home when I looked at this business. Once DAE has a customer we take care of them and they are with us for decades. My passion is serving DAE’s existing customers and adding new ones to the mix. How about DAE’s drivers – the people responsible directly to your company? All our drivers are full time employees. Each driver is bonded and insured. Most have been continuously employed for over five years. Stability and reliability are the hallmark of this company. Who are current customers of DAE? Auto dealers, insurance companies, banks, law firms, mortgage companies and accountants. I welcome you to the DAE website, and hope you will return often.
