I own four vehicles and I have been serviced by almost every domestic car repair shop in town over the past ten years, and know good service when I see it. After having a bad experience with a previous repair shop, I set out to find a better place to take my work truck. After a quick search on the Web I discovered Frank's Transmissions and Auto Repair, and I am so happy that I did. I went in to see Frank for what I thought was a simple Valve Cover oil leak and figured a gasket was all I would need. Despite several other cars already in the repair bays, within minutes, Frank put my SUV on the one rack he had open, and went to work running diagnostics. Within 10 minutes he not only found my oil leak, but he also found that my radiator had a cracked seal, along with a couple of other "Gremlins". I say "Gremlins" because, had he not taken the time to fully inspect my vehicle and run the proper tests after my initial concern was found, I most certainly would have been sitting on the side of the road come summer time. Between my coolant, suspension and engine areas, I had a total of 4 very slow leaks that if left undetected, I most certainly would have been hating life in a bad way, as I am a Mobil DJ, and any sort of break down, at the wrong time, could literally put me out of business. Although the unexpected costs put a small dent in my wallet in the short run, I am so very thankful to Frank and his friendly staff for putting me back on the road with confidence. I don't write many reviews but after seeing how dedicated Frank is to his Family owned and operated business, I am compelled to let the world know of my good experience. I highly recommend Frank's Transmissions and auto repair shop!! They are a family business who treats everyone as family. They have worked on my Expedition and Ford F150, and have done a great job! Great work at the best prices!
