Hi Laredo people just had to take the time to share this. I have a couple of years going to mervelizing for dry clean and alteration services. I really trusted this people with my stuff until one day I was going to wear a jacket I had recently picked up from them and to my surprise the zipper was busted. Not only was the zipper busted but I found the head of the zipper hidden on one of the jackets pocket. This had been the third incident so I decided to complain to the owner. But I was really really surprised the way she responded. First of all mrs. owner "customer is always right". The reason I am calling this lady mrs owner is because she did not take the time to introduce herself. Anyways I want to share the incedents that I did not complain about. One day I took some michael kor boots to get them painted, when I went to go get them omg there was black paint all over the place and even inside the boot like if a five year old had done it. Second incedent was when I took a bcbg black blazer to get dry clean and when I went and picked it up I got home to removed the plastic bag to hang it in my closet and again to my surprised it was full of whitish lint all over my blazer. Did not complain at the time but when the incident of the jacket happened I decided to bring up, since I was talking to the owner. But all she could say was that all this never happened in her business and she went ahead and asked "will what color was the lint"? How funny because no matter what the color was I for sure do not take my cloth to a professional dry clean service to come back full of lint. To other people this might not of been a big deal becuase they probably have money to just buy more, but let me clarify this is not my case. Maybe this is the reason mrs owner decided just to ignore the problem. She also went ahead and told me that "there was nothing she could do to fix my jacket". But then again this is an alterations place isn't it? All she had to do is remove the zipper and put another one. O will just wanted to share this Laredo becuase if u are like me that you work hard to buy your things, you might want to think twice before taking your stuff to mervelizing cleaners.
