As a member of The Valley Health System, Valley Hospital Medical Center proudly serves the greater Las Vegas area with care and compassion. When the clock is ticking, the emergency medical team is able to provide fast, efficient, high-quality care, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And because we have a dedicated air ambulance landing zone, patients come from four states for our emergency care. At Valley Hospital, we have an extensive maternity program that does more than just welcome new families. We offer specialty services, such as an ante-partum unit to monitor pregnancy-related complications and a maternity triage area to assess expecting mothers. Two surgical rooms are easily accessible from our labor-delivery-recovery suites in case they are needed. The Stroke Center at Valley Hospital provides patients with a wide range of services and treatment that focus on prevention and intervention, education, rehabilitation assistance and the active management of strokes through a multidisciplinary treatment. Our team-based approach allows us to offer streamlined treatment and services. Our healthcare team knows that chest pain can be a symptom of a larger problem - cardiovascular disease. Among our specialty services are a Chest Pain Center, open heart surgery, balloon angioplasties, cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker implants, cardiac defibrillator implants and ablation procedures.
