      John Walker, MD, is a distinguished and experienced plastic surgeon who provides outstanding aesthetic treatments and cosmetic surgery to clients at Best Plastic Surgery Practice in Lawndale, California. Dr. Walker attended Maritzburg College in Pietermaritzburg, Republic of South Africa, before studying for his medical degree at the University of the Free State Medical School, Bloemfontein, RSA, qualifying in 1995. He completed residencies at several prestigious universities in South Africa before taking up a position as Clinical Research Fellow in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery division of Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. Dr. Walker’s career flourished and his reputation as an outstanding plastic surgeon grew, seeing him take on roles as Director of Aesthetic Skin Care at Beverly Hills Surgical Institute in Los Angeles, Medical Director at Beacon Point Surgery Medical Center in Anaheim, California, and Medical Director and Attending Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon at Culver City Surgery Center in California. Dr. Walker is a member of the most elite medical associations including the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. Not content with being at the top of his professional specialty, Dr. Walker has delivered an extensive number of presentations and lectures as well as publishing numerous research papers in leading medical journals. He is also active in the field of research, seeking to extend not only his own expertise but to contribute to the body of professional knowledge that enables all surgeons to improve outcomes for their patients.
