I would be honored to win your trust, to work as a team with you, helping you live your healthiest life. You have goals unique to you which I will respect as we implement a care plan. It's a free land we live in and I will honor your autonomy, even if we disagree. You can trust me to be transparent, candid and have fun as we work together. There will be times we see differently but I trust we can figure out how to help you achieve your goals together. I grew up in the Mount Olympus area, attended the Univ. of Utah, then earned my MD at the Medical College of Wisconsin, to Utah’s eldest Family Medicine Residency Program at McKay Dee Hospital and most recently BYU for my MBA. I am happily married to Ann since 1995 and we are raising 7 loved kids (3 girls/4 boys) in Holladay. I spent 15 years of my career at Intermountain Healthcare until privileged with the opportunity to move to Steward Health Care to lead Steward Medical Group and return to my Family Medicine roots. I have done many things in my career to prepare me to care for you and those you love, from Full-scope Family Medicine, Adult/Pediatric Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care, Long-term/Post-Acute Care and I started and ran a Health Insurance company. I’m happy to use any of my skills to meet your needs. If you know someone who needs a doctor they can trust, please spread the word because I plan to be here for a long time. As in life and relationships sometimes it is not a fit but that’s okay. If that becomes obvious I will always work to find you the best place to care for you, even if it is not me.
