I wouldn't give this place any stars! Back in September of 2016 I noticed a golf ball size lump on my black lab. I took her to Leroy vet clinic because I heard such great thing about them. They told me not to worry about it that it's nothing. In December of 2016 within 2 days it grew to be the size of half of a bowling ball. I called Leroy and they told me to watch it and that they couldn't get me in for another 4 days. I finally took her so they could look at it. Dr. Bane wanted to keep her overnight and explained to me he was sure it just needed to be drained so he would cut it open and let it drain and he wanted to observe her. I called the next day and the receptionist said he would call me back. I asked how she was doing and they told me great she loves the guy that works in the back and loves seeing the other dogs which right off the bat I knew was a lie.. she didn't care for men nor does she like other dogs. Dr. Babe never called me back that day. I called the next day and they told me the same thing. Finally I get a call back from him and I even have the voice mail proving what he said! He said it's nothing to worry about it's NOT cancerous and it's just some dead tissue in the area. She stayed for another 2 days before I was able to pick her up. I picked her up and it cost around $500. I brought her home and she has some leakage of draining. They gave me antibiotics for her to be on for 2 weeks. They told me to bring her back in 2 weeks. A day before I was supposed to take her back for a check up there was blood all over the floor. This was on 1-26-17. I called Leroy and they told me I can't bring her in until after 5pm. I sat and thought about it for a little bit and decided to get a second opinion. I called Town and country and they said bring her in right away and I had never been to this vet clinic before! Within 15 minutes of being there and Dr. Vito taking a blood sample she knew she had cancer! She told me it was so far gone that there really wasn't anything we could do but to enjoy the time we had left with her. I was so furious I couldn't stand to call Dr. Bane. My fianc called Dr. Bane and he said he never told us that it was not cancerous that's why she needed to come back after 2 weeks for a check up. Which is a lie because I have the voicemail proving he said it was nothing to worry about and it was NOT cancerous!!! Dr. Bane sent a letter a couple days later explains him self and trying to say he never said any of that which is sad you have to lie about. Just admit your wrong! On 2-17-17 I had to put my beautiful baby down. I know it's not right to blame any one but if this would have been caught sooner I could have prolonged her life and had more time with her! $500 to Leroy vet clinic for NOTHING! I would never go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone!!
