0I am repisting my review because my original review has been removed. We Were looking gir a new place to try and saw SOUTH SHORE GRILLE. We had their calamari as a starter and it was probably the best we've ever had. I had the prime rib and my wife had shrimp. Everything was very good. I can't say the prime rib was the best I've ever had because it would be comparing theirs to large steak houses. The waiter we had was new but very friendly and even though he was still learning the menu he was very helpful.
Wonderful atmosphere, great food, service is excellent..owner is very friendly!
The person that owns this place is a really mean person...the food isn't too good and if I were you I would go somewhere else. He walks around cussing at his employees and he has no respect for anyone. I can't imagine why anyone would want to eat this place....just awful.

- Owner Mickey Wooten is no stranger to the restaurant business or the Bay Area community. Mickey has worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for more than 30 years and knows what makes for a great dining experience.
