Chi nail work is wonderful but I wanted a fill in and she would not do it she rushed me off by saying they didn't need filled in yet when they do . I had to wait 2 hours and she let people go ahead of me. ThAt wasn't right . Her customer service sucks and the man didn't massage my other foot on pedicure.chi said I do good job on ur nails they don't need much work I was so mad I just left

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SURE!!!!! I have been going to this place for years and have always had mediocre experiences. My favorite nail tech was the owner Chi. She does an excellent job on my nails (pink & white) and is very fast at what she does. However I have always put up with her talking on the phone nonstop while I'm sitting in the chair getting serviced. Also she is always talking to her staff in their language so of course I have no idea what they are saying. I do know they have talked about me before just by the expressions on their faces and they would look at me and point. HOW RUDE!!!!! The price was always nice not too much for what I was getting done to my nails and they would last a good 3 weeks before I had to go back. I have never gotten a fungus or infection from their supplies but I have never seen them use sanitized tools EVER! Today however I was treated very rudely. I called Chi on Thursday evening to make an appointment for today, Friday March 9, 2012. She told me she could see me at 9:45am even though the store did not open till 10am. I was stoked cause that meant I could get in and get out without it taking up my whole day. However, I arrived at the salon at 9:40a and the doors were locked and no one inside. I called the salon thinking maybe she didn't want to open the doors yet since she was getting me in before they opened but got no answer. So I sat there and waiting and waiting still calling in hopes. I waited a full 15 mins before she finally came to the door with a smile on her face thinking it was okay to let a customer wait 15 mins for her. When I finally entered the salon she said sorry and I didn't respond she asked what was wrong and I proceeded to tell her that she kept me waiting 15 mins. She said I'm sorry I had to go someplace else and got stuck in traffic downtown. I said well I guess you should have accounted for the morning traffic and should have left her home earlier so she could get her errand done before coming to work. Instead of letting a long standing customer waiting. Anyway, I sat down in the chair and had nothing more to say to her. I was pissed and I was taught keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything nice to say. She proceeded to do my nails not talking to me either but she sure did talk to her other associate airing dirty laundry about another nail tech that was not there. Saying the guy was cheap and he never paid for his own supplies and so on and so forth. In my opinion not the place to do it with a customer sitting there to hear all. At this point they should have spoke in their language as not to let their dirty laundry out, but they didn't do that. Also the other nail tech starting talking to me about the sweatshirt I was wearing (Hard Rock, New Orleans), telling me he had been to New Orleans and how they have strip clubs everywhere and how most of the women are guys. Then he proceeded to say how sick it was that people are like this. In my opinion he was gay bashing, not cool, not cool at all, I said everybody is entitled to their opinion but I personally have no problem with the gay community. My nail tech Chi just sat there and laughed about it. She was almost done with me and I asked her if she would do my eyebrows for free since she had made me wait for 15 mins before she arrived and said, "No., people like to take advanagrte of others." I said Im not taking advantage of you , you made me wait so why not give good customer service to a good client. She refused to do so but said I'll give you a discount on your nails ($5.00) . You may say thats awesome at least she gave you that but no its the principal of the matter. Customer serivice at this place is way down, but hey thats about par for any place these days. I will not be going back here and it probably wont hurt her business but I feel people should hear my experience so that their not surprised if they get the same kind of customer service when they visit this business.

Here's the deal. Nice store front, but inside is just mediocre. Nothing fancy at all. That being said they are cheaper than where I usually go. My daughter lives in Lexington, so when I came to visit her, this is where I went, due to location convenience. Normally, when I have my nails done, they put some nice little marble like stones in a bowl and put the remover in there for me to soak my nails in. Club nails just had some plastic containers with the remover in them (like what you would purchase at the drug stone with the sponge in it), and had me put my nails in there. That was kinda wierd to me cause I was thinking, "do they use these over and over for different people"? How sanitary is that? She didn't hardly use any tools to remove (I have gel nails, not acrylic) the old, mostly her fingernail. Again, wierd to me. But.....she got the job done. She was super fast and my nails looked fine when I left. They lasted only a tiny bit less time before needing to have them redone than where I usually go. The price however, was about half of what I normally pay. So.....basically, nothing luxurious or relaxing, but they get the job done for about half the price.

I don't know what the one review was all about, but I have never had an unpleasant experience out of this place, the service has been great!

This is the worst service I have ever received at a Nail Salon. The guy that was doing my nails told me I was dry and when I got up to leave, 2 messed up immediately, Instead of just correcting the problem, decided to dab on a little acetone and made it worse. Then, the owner proceded to ask me "Why do you have such an attitude!" When I mentioned i wouldnt be back so said under her breathe " Its okay if you dont come back, I have people that come in." Ummm... is this a place of business or are we going to continue to have a back and forth argument about why I "have such an attitude" about the fact that my manicure and pedicure were medicore to begin with and to it your associate just went over the problem instead of fixing it. Then she preceded to discuss my attitude to with another customer. I have absolutely NEVER seen such poor customer service by a business owner, and Ive heard stories about how people only visit once because the work is not good, now i know first hand!!!

This is a wonderful place and looks so nice. They do the best pink and white in town and the nails stay on for a long time. The kiddie pedicure chairs are so cute and the workers are so friendly and helpful.
