For the first time in Illinois, patients with glaucoma have a new treatment option known as the Trabectome. The minimally invasive procedure, which is available exclusively at the North Shore Glaucoma Center, and takes about 20 minutes, is designed to decrease pressure within the eye and stabilize the vision. We employ the latest technologies to make the most accurate diagnosis and treatment possible.We clearly explain your diagnosis along with all procedures and remedies to ensure you are able to make fully informed decisions with Dr. Savitt's and Dr. Jacobs' guidance.
