This was my 3rd coming here for thanksgiving takeout food. Last year wait time was lengthy During my visit this time, however, all the staff were friendly. My wait time to pick up ordered food was under 30 minutes. The food was very good; turkey juicy.

The food at this lilocation is over salted, overpriced and overrated. An oxtail dinner costing $17 and change, is a little much for collards comprised mostly of stems, mac and cheese with a box taste and extra cheese, not to mention, globs of gray gravy, hiding the fact that the oxtails are pieces, as opposed to whole oxtails. The fact that so many people flock there frequently, tells me that no one really knows good Southern food. This is not it.

I only have one word to describe it.....DELICIOUS!!

Ordered the family whitting dinner, comes with 2 sides and probably feeds 4-5 depending on how much you eat ;). Only $23.00. Good deal for the price without out compromising quality and service. ALL EXCELLENT!!!

I bought three chittling dinners. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. But the price was something else. I paid $49.72 for three dinners. If you want great customer service and good soul food, This Is It, is it. Treat Yourself.
