I recently got my wedding dress altered here. The women who fitted me were friendly and helpful. I had two dresses, one that was too small, and one that was too large. I was going to originally add a corset back to the smaller one (which they quoted me $60), but the women working there told me that it would be cheaper and easier to just have it taken in, so I chose the less expensive option. I asked for a quote on the alterations when I dropped my dress off. The woman quoted me $35, which, I thought, was an AMAZING price. I recommended Stitch's to my bridesmaids, as well. When I went to pick up my dress (one week later than they said it would be done), two different women were working. They charged me almost $100! I asked if there were an error, because I had been quoted $35. The woman just responded "Well, sometimes these things are more expensive than you think!" and was pretty rude about it. I tried explaining that I have no problem paying $100 for wedding dress alterations, but that it was drastically different than what I had been quoted. She just pointed at the receipt and told me "well, that's what it costs." She was very unfriendly. The alterations themselves are okay. Not perfect. The hem looks awkward.

*edit* I received a call today from this business (actually, from one of the women who helped me originally) to rectify this situation. They offered me a gift card for future alterations, which I very much appreciate. Clearly, there are some people there who care very much about this business and about providing good customer service.
