I am happy to see that Joe and Debbie are defending their business. My name is Jonathan and I have been going to Hair Update for more than 10 years.Many of the same girls have been there for the entire time. I have never experienced anything but professional, friendly and helpful people and I always get a great cut. I highly recommend Hair Update!!!!

The owner acts like this is the best place because it has been operational for 18 years. I do agree this place will not be around for another 18 years. The turn over is above industry standard. The staff is rude and if you complain there is little done to get something fix. I been going to this place because it is close to where I live. However, I rather pay more, drive further for a place that knows how to treat customers well. Please consider this review before you go to this salon. I been fair for a long time but enough is enough.

Hair Update has been the best family hair and tanning salon for almost 20 years. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I can always find the haircare products I need and they will even order a specialty item for you. I highly reccommend this place!!! Sarah from Londonderry

I can only write about products, they have a HUDGE selection and the price is cheaper than most.

I have been going there for over ten years and the stylists there have been wonderful and reasonably priced. I recently brought in my daughters there. They loved it so much they want to go back every month - maybe they re too good???

I've been going to hair update for more than 15 yrs, they always do a great job and I've always found everyone to be very pleasant and helpful. Great family salon prices are very reasonable.

I went to Hair Update for a formal up do for a wedding. What I got was my hair pulled straight back in a rubberband and a bun I hated it and told the girl when she cashed me out. I was still charged 40.00 dollars for a 10 minute bun. I went home and had my hair redone when i called to complain the manager was rude and told me never to go in there again. I would never go there again and would not recommend anyone to go there. I would also not give any stars

I took my 13 year son for a haircut here. His hair was grown out and he wanted an updated look. We took a picture of the style he wanted. To get this style, he only needed a little taken off for the styling. I told the stylist before she touched his hair that if she could not do it, please tell me. Well, when she was done, my son's hair was about 1 1/2 inches SHORTER. He had no more length in the back and she gave him very short layers. I showed her the pic and stated how she could have gone from one extreme to the next. She was speechless, which led me to believe, and I told her, that it was not up to her to decide how to cut my son's hair. I spoke with the owner on the phone. She (owner) did however apologized, the stylist did not. Just for record, the pic we brought was one of the Jonas Brothers (not something outrageous). Will never go back here. I'm still fuming and my son is still very upset!! Wish I could haven given no stars.
