- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeWrist pain is often caused by sprains or fractures from sudden injuries. But wrist pain can also result from long-term problems, such as repetitive stress, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Because so many factors can lead to wrist pain, diagnosing the exact cause can sometimes be difficult. But an accurate diagnosis is essential for proper treatment.
- MRI"I came here on a referral from my physical therapist. I had a previous knee surgery that did not go too well. Dr. Hajaliloo sent me to get an MRI immediately then he saw that I re-tore the meniscus. We are currently doing cortisone shots until I have time to do surgery again. Great doctor so far!"
- X-Rays
- Computed TomographyIf you have been referred by another physician, please bring complete and accurate contact information for your referring doctor, so that we may send office notes and a letter after your visit. Please bring the films or CDs of your MRI, CT scan, X-rays and/or other tests pertinent to your problem. Because Dr. Haj may want to use your films for surgical decision-making and planning, the report will not provide enough information. It is very important that you bring the actual films (or arrange for and confirm delivery before your appointment) in addition to any reports or written results that you may have.
- OrthopedicsDr. Hajaliloo is passionate about the practice of orthopedics and teaches orthopedic and pediatric residents at UCI Medical School and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Haj has an excellent reputation in the medical community and is honored to care for the orthopedic issues of many fellow physicians and their families.

- Sports MedicineMost people have experienced back pain sometime in their life. The causes of back pain are numerous; some are self-inflicted due to a lifetime of bad habits. Other back pain causes include accidents, muscle strains, and sports injuries. Although the causes may be different, most often they share the same symptoms.
- Physical TherapyDr. Haj takes a conservative approach to orthopedic problems. Quite often, muscle or joint pain can be alleviated by some combination of diet modification, exercise, and physical therapy. Medication or injections can also be used to positive effect. Surgery is often a last resort.
- Tennis ElbowThe elbow functions to move the arm like a hinge (forward and backward) and in rotation (twisting outward and inward). The biceps muscle is the major muscle that flexes the elbow hinge. The triceps muscle is the major muscle that extends the elbow hinge. The outer bone of the elbow is referred to as the lateral epicondyle and is a part of the humerus bone. Tendons are attached to this area and can be injured, causing inflammation or tendinitis (lateral epicondylitis, or "tennis elbow").
