General Info: With over 10 years of experience, I work with people who have experienced both relational trauma wounds (from verbal, physical, or sexual abuse) and attachment wounds (from neglect, rejection, enmeshment, and chronic misattunement). Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and Ego State Therapy (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy), I implement emotional regulation strategies and intense intrapersonal therapy to bring a client from "stuck in the past" to "fully alive in the present." I focus on trauma-informed therapy but that does not mean that clients who have not experienced what they might consider trauma are exempt from benefitting from my counseling services. Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, nightmares, and a feeling of "running on empty" will benefit from my counseling. I specialize in using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and Ego State Therapy (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) to set clients free from disabling conditions that chain them to their past and prevent them from fully enjoying being in the moment.
