General Info

Anna Lane, Registered Play Therapist, Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor I have been working with parents and their children for over fifteen years. I'm a Registered Play Therapist, which means having specialized training and experience working with children under the age of ten years. I also work with adult's issues of anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. I'm bilingual in Spanish. My approach to therapy is eclectic with an emphasis on establishing a therapeutic relationship, which sets the groundwork for the client and therapist working together to improve the current situation. The past is important in the sense of how it is now affecting the present. I received my Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1998, am licensed at the state level, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and certified at the national level, National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have worked in a variety of settings, including mental health centers, private practice, as a Victim Advocate, and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), which involves working on the behalf of young children who are in situations of abuse and neglect.
