Get to know Oden Veterinary Hospital! Hello, and thank you for your interest in our hospital! We're happy to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff. And of course, we would love to hear from you! Our History: We may be a new veterinary hospital, but we are not new to veterinary medicine or the Lubbock community. Dr. Blaine Oden graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. Shortly thereafter, he began veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts. In 2003, Dr. Oden graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced at several different veterinary hospitals in that time. Dr. Oden spent the majority of his practice career in Lubbock, and helped build a very successful practice. Thankfully, it was not God's will for him to own that practice, and it was sold to a large veterinary corporation from California. Dr. Oden wanted to continue practicing in Lubbock, and provide quality, personalized care for the pets in this community, so he started his own practice. Our Philosophy: Our mission statement is to treat all patients in a God centered, family oriented, practice, that provides compassionate, loving medical care that is of the highest quality.
