For over twenty years I have enjoyed success in partnering with people to assist them with finding and developing solutions that fit their situation. My interest and care for people continues to inspire my work with individuals, couples and families. Incorporating fun and humor into my work contributes to a deeply satisfying and wholistic counseling experience for all involved. My passion and interest in the work I do enables people of different cultures to develop their own resilience to stress, depression, change and losses. I deeply appreciate the process of dialogue which provides a detailed understanding of how and where my clients struggle. Through my experience, observation and feedback, I am confident that the approaches I use are highly effective in helping people to make more informed and independent decisions. In tailoring an approach to fit people's needs, I employ multicultural techniques from Humor, Career/Life Coaching, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Existential and Group Therapy as well as Mindfulness Approaches. In the area of Spirituality, many clients choose to utilize my background in Pastoral Counseling. This spiritual approach is informed by 12 months of intense supervised training in Clinical Pastoral Education at an Austin Hospital. Senior Counseling,-40% Discount.
