We have been serving Lynchburg and the surrounding areas for well over 50 years as a veterinary hospital, ten years under Dr. Jean & Dr.Rick Krason. We are a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to dogs, cats and small mammals as well as reptiles and birds. We are an accredited member of The American Animal Hospital Association. We voluntarily submit to regular practice evaluations by AAHA inspection experts to ensure that we comply with the highest standards in veterinary medicine. Fewer than 10% of the veterinary hospitals in the nation are AAHA accredited. It means that you can be sure your pet is receiving the best possible care, using the latest procedures and technology. Ask us about our AAHA accreditation and how it affects your pet !!! We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and when necessary, the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local specialty practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and a comprehensive dental suite. In addition, we have climate controlled indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise areas, as well as separate facilities for cats and exotic pets. Our goal is to care for your pet from its infancy to its senior years by not only providing optimal veterinary care, but timely and useful information pertaining to all topics related to the health and enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy so that they can be your constant companions for years to come.
