Philosophy I believe the goal found in Taekwondo practice go deeper than earning a Black Belt and its many degree. The extrinsic value of earning a black Belt, physical fitness and learning a system of competition has a place in modern society but the intrinsic value goes beyond the surface. Taekwondo enables the student to develop courage to believe in themselves, to find balance in their lives and to embrace the challenges of life with confidence. It is an avenue that allows courtesy, dignity, devotion and compassion among classmates and encourages them to give their personal best at all times. Taekwondo gives the student the ability to behave in a manner that honors their chosen path in life.
