Owner/Director Paige Levine is a Balanchine trained ballet dancer. Dance is her life and growing as a professional includes pursing her Masters degree at NYU/American Ballet Training for Dance Education. Classes offered are: * Creative Movement (3 yrs) and Pre-Dance (4 yrs): These classes are designed to encourage confident freedom of expression through movement. Beginning ballet concepts will be introduced, as this lays a solid foundation for all forms of dancing. Each class will be a fun yet structured session. Through group activities and individual instruction, we will focus on basic movements and advance to sequencing combinations. In the process your child will be honing valuable * Ballet ages 5 - 7: Our ballet classes for ages five to seven expand upon the same principles emphasized in the above outlined class descriptions. These classes will focus on awareness of the body, movement and music. Dancers will learn ballet vocabulary and stage/performance * Ballet ages 8 - 14+: Our program is unique because we offer Pre-Professional training. Advancing students will be exposed not only to ballet technique and the corresponding terminology, but also dance history and the opportunity to experiment with choreographic concepts. We want our dancers to be educated in the evolution of dance, and how it applies to them.
