Had a pelvic ultrasound. The technician was wonderful, but the room where the procedure was done was so small one person could barely fit comfortably let alone two people (technician and patient). I was also very surprised at the filthy rug in the room. It should either be replaced with a new rug or, better yet, tile flooring for sanitary reasons.

I went to Main Line with a script for a mamo. The script also included a request for an ultrasound. The technician did not perform the ultrasound. I pointed out that the doctor specifically requested an ultrasound be done as well. The tech gave me some excuse about the films needing to be reviewed. Now they call me back to have an ultrasound. Is this some kind of staffing problem? I now have to make ANOTHER appointment, leave work and have the ultrasound done when it should have been done while I was there. Ugh. Incompetence abounds.
