Tracey Bromley Goodwin, M.Ed., and Holly Oberacker, ATR, LMHC, have 20 years of combined experience working with children and families. Tracey, an educational consultant and learning coach, and Holly, an art therapist, joined forces founding the consulting business Navigating ADHD, Inc. Navigating ADHD helps children, parents, educators and medical professionals struggling with an ADHD diagnosis. Navigating ADHD offers seminars, workshops, support groups and one-on-one counseling as well as national speaking engagements for professional conferences and forums nationwide. The authors steer readers through an understanding of the ADHD diagnosis, communication strategies, social and organizational skills and ADHD treatments, among many other subjects. They present real-life scenarios, concrete strategies and proven solutions that give parents, teachers and professionals the support and confidence they need to help a child diagnosed with ADHD excel through every phase of life, at home, school or in the workplace.
