He enjoys the process of directly restoring function to another human being. He relishes the continual refinement in surgical techniques and treatment methods for helping patients to a better quality of life.Dr. Scherb gives his patients ample opportunity to explain their problems, concerns and hopes, encouraging them to be active participants in their care and advocate for their own best health. It leads to good outcomes when patients are better-educated and more active in their own healthcare decisions. He is a willing listener and tenacious about identifying the cause of a problems even when it is not readily apparent.
