I decided to take my dog in today. He basically looks like a giant beagle and weighs around 50 lbs. He has allergies and I decided to take him in for a medicated bath and full groom. My dog came out smelling fresh and seemed to enjoy the service. The owner was very kind and responsive and very knowledgeable to the information I needed to help with his coat . He recommended the items I needed and what to do to help my pet. He hasn't scratched any more since I've taken him there I highly recommend this place. The staff is extremely friendly and my pet loves their full attention. I will definitely continue to come and give a word for anyone who wants to get a full professional experience for your friendly companion.

I have taken my Yorkie there for sometime now. I have read the previous reviews and never really thought that this place was bad. About two grooming sessions ago, I took my baby in and was told that they had found fleas and ticks on him. My initial reaction was "How"? He never goes outside and if he does we baby him by carrying him, my home is clean, I've never seen any inside my home. Well, today I dropped him off to get groomed. I waited for an hour outside until the owner finally decided to show up well after our appointment time. So, in the meantime while waiting, I decided to check him completely for fleas and ticks. I did not find one flea or tick on my baby. I carried him indoors and dropped him off to get groomed. Upon picking him up, I was told that my baby has several fleas and ticks. That lit a firecracker in my rear and I asked how is that possible if I checked him before dropping him off. Remember, I waited for over an hour outside to drop him off, and completely checked him. The owner goes on to tell me that maybe I gave them to him because sometimes we carry them! ARE U KIDDING ME??? HE GETS THEM FROM YOUR BUSINESS!

I warn all pet owners not to trust this business. I took three dogs in November, and December I paid with a check they never cashed my checks. Until today I call the location they said there were a number of checks but they couldn't call people and let them know!!! The owner couldn't call us cause he said they only had names on the checks.. I don't about you but that's bad business, let those people know at least. Then he goes off on me, I took my dogs to get a service and I even paid extra this is what I get when I call the owner.. After he yelled at me I told him I would be sharing this with everyone!! You WANT a HONEST AND TRUST WORTHY LOCATION, our information could have ended up in the WRONG HANDS!!! I will not go back!!!!

Absolutely love this place! Juan is the best. My chihuahua will not see anyone else. Compared to all the other pet groomers I have spoken with here in McAllen and in San Antonio, he actually cares and is very careful with my spoiled baby. Prices are extremely reasonable! I even took my long-haired chihuahua in for a shave and was charged half the price than Fifi's and Perfect Paws wanted to charge me for my little 6pound chihuahua. He came out looking like a stud! I have always received nothing but the best treatment. Wish they would move to san antonio so my pups can receive the VIP treatment twice a month rather than each time I come down to visit.

Worst place ever I don't know how they stay in business, it must be the over charges. Very Rude staff.

Really bad experience

The worst place ever, they cut my dog and never recognize they did it. Always charge over price on chart. My dog is really afraid for grooming since we take him there.

Never go back AGAIN

After paying over $135 for both are dogs, I had to take one of them to the vet for a bad cut on his belly. You would think after paying so much they would have taken care of my dog. Never going there again!

I love this place! I have taken my Maltese to several groomers but if it wasnt one thing it was another that I didn't like. I love everything about The pet Spa. They have friendly staff, decent prices, and they don't keep your dog there all day like some places.

I do not recommend this place.

They charge more than advertised, they charged me for a standard schnauzer when my dog is a mini. They refused to give me my dog when I refused to pay the extra. Normally I pay $90 at glamour dogs and ended up paying $130 at Pet Spa. If I could give them a negative score I would.

I tried this place and absolutely love it! The Decor is fabulous and it is so clean. It reminds me of a chic place up in Austin. The service is outstanding. The guy who helped me was so sweet. I have a Schnauzer and I usually take her to Petsmart for her grooming. I got a better price and better service. They also let me know why she had issues with being brushed and clued me in on how to help her. I knew she didn't like being brushed but I didn't know why. He told me to use oatmeal conditioner on her when I bath her because her skin is sensitive and can dry out and crack. At Petsmart they just said she had a problem being brushed but blew it off as being normal. They are just so caring and you can tell they are animal lovers. My Shadow went in a hot mess...She came out looking great and is very happy! She got a wonderful hair cut, some pampering (a massage), and I can't stop smelling her. I am always paranoid about leaving her places but I feel safe leaving her in their hands. I definitely recommend this place ;)

if you all are looking for the BEST SPA to treat your dog , this is the place highly recommend it, very clean and very friendly staff, ive been here every week since it opened and my dog and i love it!!
