A few years ago I had a total knee replacement and my knee ended up worse than before surgery. My surgeon, Dr. Steven Chamberlain placed a prosthesis that is too large for my bone size and causes nerve impingement with pain every time I bend my knee. Dr. Steven Chamberlain treated me horribly with bulling, verbal abuse and sexual harassment. When I reported this doctor's behavior to the management at S. O. Orthopedics that this surgeon has a substance abuse problem and inept, they blackballed me. His colleagues are covering up and protecting him and his abusive behavior. I also found errors on my billing statement on what procedures I had and what was billed to my insurance company. They use up-coding for insurance fraud. Sadly, this is the state of our health care system. The focus is on profitability and not on patient-centered care and patient safety.
