This place is ridiculous. I had 2 simple sleeveless A-line Lands End Clearance Racks summer dresses altered. The shoulders had to be shortened and taken in under the arms across the chest.
1. They altered one of the dresses ok. Its how I know how badly they screwed up the second.
2. The second dress, they only took in one side. So I can't even wear the dress......at all.
3. And the kicker. They charged me $92. $92 dollars for a very simple alteration. This wasn't even hard or complicated in the slightest.
I'm reading everyone elses alteration stories. They were at least charged a reasonable rate. $92? That is so far beyond ridiculous.
The dresses were clearance rack and cost $24. And he charged $92 to alter. That man is insane. Thread hasn't gone up that much.
Next stop.....Better Business Bureau to file a claim with photos.
