      General Info
      Dr. Roxanne Guy is owner and founder of Brevard Plastic Surgery and Skin Treatment Center in Melbourne, Florida and has practiced cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in Brevard County for over 30 years. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Guy's areas of specialty are facial cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, liposuction and body contouring, laser skin rejuvenation, cosmetic medicine, injectable relaxers and fillers, and medical-grade skin care for all skin problems. Dr. Guy has the distinction of serving the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) in 2007 as its first female president. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons is the largest organization of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in the world, with over 6000 members. Dr. Guy also served as a written and oral examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and was a member of its Cosmetic Advisory Council for aesthetic surgery content for the Board Written Examination and for its Maintenance of Certification Program. In 1996 and 1997, Dr. Guy was the Medical Staff President for the largest local hospital in the area, Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center. Dr. Guy was named Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine Alumnus of the Year for 2004 in recognition of her "outstanding contributions to medicine and distinguished service to humankind". Over the years, Dr. Guy has published numerous papers and abstracts. She has delivered more than 250 presentations, locally, nationally and internationally and has appeared on several television programs including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The McNeil-Lehrer News Hour and The Today Show, etc. to educate the public and her peers on various topics in plastic surgery. Dr. Guy's most recent presentations include teaching at the Aesthetic Extenders Symposium In Miami Beach in October of 2011, as faculty at the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons Atlanta Breast Symposium in January of 2012 (where she performed a live revision breast surgery and presented a talk on re-operative breast surgery), and a presentation on fat injections at the latest Annual Meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons in New Orleans in October of 2012. She is the ASPS 2012 October Surgery Spotlight videotaped surgeon, performing a full facial aesthetic rejuvenation, showing her technique for facelift, eyelid lifts, forehead lift and chin implantation. Dr. Guy has been married to the love of her life, Curt Guy, for 34 years and has one son, Hunter Guy who is now 27 years old.
