Went to Merrillville location maybe 14 years ago, when my wife and I were dating and the restaurant was displaying an 'always open' sign. We were told to come back in 30 minutes, that they were closed for cleaning. We never went back. Ever... false advertisement.

The Round the Clocks are all good. The merrillville location has great homestyle food that is hard to find today. Everywhere else you go the food is very processed. They also have very good prices. I don't like to cook so we go there weekly. The service is usually very good too.

I wouldn't recommend going to Round the Clock in Merrillville. I had ordered a club sandwich from there one day for lunch and something sharp had cut my lip. To this day I am still not sure what it was. All I know is that I was bleeding like crazy. I had actually bled the whole time I was there and the whole drive home which was about 10-15 minutes. In a situation like that you would think that the manager would offer me something else to eat or even apologize. I didn't eat the rest of my sandwich which only had 3 bites taken out of it and when we went to pay the bill I was still charged for the sandwich and I had given it to the server and told her I was afraid to eat it after getting cut . So, if you want to bleed while eating and have it send back and still pay for it this is the place to go.
