BAIT AND SWITCH We are a condo association that used this company for several carpet jobs, from slab to water leak issues. When they first approached us, they touted very reasonable rates, but beware, they get you hooked and then, all of a sudden, your bill is more than doubled for the same or less work. Then when the association complained and tried to work out the disputed amount, they harassed the condo owner, taking them to small claims court for a judgement. This after the association twice sent payment. After the judgement, the association sent the amount of the judgement only to have it returned. Veal Carpet Care does not operate a fair business and should not be trusted. And if you do use them, get the pricing up front each and every time, because they are NOT consistent.

Terrible Experience; Shop at Lowes instead Went to replace fluorescent bulb. Found a set of two marked at the price of $3.74. Proceeded to checkout when the price rang up as $13.70. Told the clerk that the model number (BR40) was listed at $3.74. Clerk did nothing to double check the price. Finally, I decided to double check. I went to the aisle and sure enough the price was $3.74. Told the clerk that it was the same price. He didn't believe me. I told him I'd show him. We walked to the aisle and I showed him the sticker price. Five minutes later and a few angry customers later, we tried to seal the deal. The clerk called the manager for an override. Finally, after taking her sweet time (ten minutes or so), the manager showed up. She looked at the product and said: "no way can these bulbs be this price." She told us to wait. She disappeared. Ten minutes later she phoned the clerk and told him it wasn't the same price. I was awestruck. The clerk wouldn't budge. I waited for another five
