      Vanessa Feliciano is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Mental health Counselor presently serving the Miami-Dade County community. She earned her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida State University. Dr. Feliciano is devoted to pursuing a career path that allows for the integration of clinical skills, culturally competent practice, and empirically informed intervention, thereby enhancing treatment decisions and continuity of care. Throughout the course of her career, she acquired clinical intervention and assessment skills, working with diverse child and adult populations facing a variety of mental health conditions including affective disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. Dr. Feliciano is also highly passionate about community mental health and previously held the position of Clinical Psychologist I for the Miami-Dade County and Human Services Department, as well as served as a Clinical Training Committee Member, providing direct supervision to Doctoral Interns completing an APA accredited psychology training program, in addition to masters and doctoral level practicum trainees. Presently, Dr. Feliciano holds the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences within the University of Miami Miller School of medicine, in which she treats both child and adult patients facing various psychiatric and mental health issues. ? ?
