People in Portland are very lucky to have Jeremy! We hired him to install hardwood floors in our bedroom. We found out he was leaving Milwaukee and had him install flooring in our living room and take down a wall as well. He noticed little things, like a faulty outlet and cracks in the drywall which he fixed as well. He was the most respectful contractor we ever worked with. He was very good with our pets and the house was left cleaner than I usually keep it. We were very sad to lose him. Everyone who sees the work he did in our house is very impressed. I can nort describe in words the little touches and details he added that make things look fabulous.

Jeremy remodeled the third floor of our 105 year-old house. He carefully preserved the original wood, installed insulation, built custom bookcases and a built-in entertainment center. The room looks original to the house, which was quite a feat. I had problems with another contractor involved in the job. Jeremy was incredibly diplomatic and patient with the other contractor and was able to get terrific work out of him. We had lots of surprises that come with restoring an old home. Jeremy was a creative problem solver who was able to tackle every challenge we encountered. We also liked his "green" approach to construction. He used recycled materials and made sure we had enough insulation to minimize heat loss. My husband and I have remodeled several old homes, and we have never worked with such a talented, responsible, reliable, honest, and professional contractor. Plus, he's just a really nice guy.

Jeremy and his team cut a 5' wide by 4' tall hole in the wall separating our kitchen and dining room placing a solid cherry bar in-between the two rooms. They built an arch at the top matching existing architecture in our home. They finished everything off except for the painting which we wanted to do ourselves.Everything went great from start to finish. We started the project by making some drawings on paper and then actually right on the wall. Once the planning was done they came in on a Monday and were finished with major construction in just a few days. I was very pleased with how quickly they finished the work and cleaned up in the end. Jeremy is a fine craftsman and pays close attention to detail.

I hired Burkham Built to come up to Minnesota to construct a building and rehab another on an island in the middle of Rainy Lake. Despite the logistical nightmares of waves and weather as autumn turned to winter, Jeremy and crew managed to erect the structure in no time and rehab the other in their spare time. The quality of their work made the end result flush with the beauty of the area, and Burkham cost me less than a local crew. No complaints. -Andy Garvey

Jeremy Burkham owner and operator of Burkham Built have provided the highest quality of work that I have experienced in my 15 years of renovation projects. It didn't matter if the project was putting in floors or a complete remodel of our 2nd floor to include the entire bathroom, his conscientious approach takes the stress out difficult projects because you know you can trust him.
