      In June of 2013, Kelly Laurendine was informed that the massage therapy program with whom she had worked since 2007 would be closing its doors. In October 2013, she established Alabama Healing Arts, LLC in Mobile, AL with the goal of providing high-quality education and services in the healing arts, including massage therapy, Reiki, yoga, and holistic counseling. It has been her lifes dream to create a space where a variety of healing and personal development modalities could be experienced or learned. Having been changed for the better by exploring different realms of physical, mental and spiritual well-being, it is her passion to bring a heart-centered approach to living and learning in an environment geared for personal empowerment and professional success. Join the ever-growing field of massage therapy by getting your certification from Alabama Healing Arts. Also learn how to teach yoga and Reiki. Center founder Kelly Laurendine has over 25 years of experience. Become a licensed massage therapist in Alabama from our 650 hour program. Start your new career now. Alabama Healing Arts (AHA) School of Massage Therapy is licensed by the state. At the end of this program, you will be prepared to sit for the massage national certification or MBLEX examination and qualified to give professional massages once licensed. AHA's 650-hour massage therapy program meets all state requirements to help you become a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in Alabama. In order to give our teachers, students, and therapists the rest needed to perform at our best, we will honor all national holidays and haveseasonal weekly-closings during the months of March, June, September, and December.
