      Business History
      Ascension Funeral Group consists of the following locally owned and operated businesses: Ascension Funerals and Cremations Forest Lawn Funeral Home Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Spring Hill Memorial Gardens Mobile Pet Cemetery In July 2003, James H. Alexander and Barry J. Theriot purchased Ascension Funeral Service, now known as Ascension Funerals and Cremations. In May 2005, James H. Alexander and Barry J. Theriot purchased Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens and Spring Hill Memorial Gardens. In January 2006, James H. Alexander and Barry J. Theriot opened Mobile Pet Cemetery at its Spring Hill Memorial Gardens location. In October 2007, James H. Alexander and Barry J. Theriot purchased property near Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, and on July 1, 2008, opened Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
