      Established in 1938, Wintzell's Oyster House is a restaurant chain that maintains locations in Mobile, Fairhope and Saraland, Ala., and Hattiesburg, Miss. Known for its oysters, the chain s restaurants serve crab claws, boiled shrimp, stuffed flounder, filet mignon and grilled chicken breast. Its restaurants also offer roast beef, hamburgers, coleslaw and baked potatoes. Wintzell's Oyster House s restaurants provide banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 100 guests for rehearsal dinners, golf tournaments, holiday functions, corporate events, birthday parties, family reunions and political events. Some of its restaurants feature stores that include a range of merchandise and souvenirs. Wintzell's Oyster House additionally supports several schools, hospitals, churches and youth organizations.
