      Mt. Hope Nursing Center is a 50-bed, geriatric intermediate care facility that provides health care services for senior adults and families. The center, located in Mount Hope, Kan., was established in 1974. It is a part of Mount Home Community Development. The center provides 24-hour skilled nursing services with the aid of registered professional nurses. Its nurses conduct physical assessments and provide recommendations on health care to the staff and families. It offers its residents assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing and grooming. Additionally, the nursing center provides rehabilitation services, such as physical therapy and it also offers nutritional counseling services. It also offers independent living options through private and semiprivate rooms, balanced meals and transportation to medical appointments. The nursing center has a beauty shop and organizes social activities and programs for its residents, such as horticulture and fine arts.
